How the Online Training Works

This online 200-hour training is designed for students who need flexibility without losing structure, accountability, or real teaching experience. You move through the course at your own pace while meeting clear requirements for live participation and practical assessment.

What “Self-Paced” Means

Self-paced means you complete the core learning modules on your own schedule within a 12-month access period. This includes recorded lectures, posture breakdowns, anatomy, philosophy, sequencing, and teaching methodology. You decide when to study, review, and revisit material.

What Is Live and Required

Live sessions are a required part of the certification. These include virtual practicum sessions, practice teaching, feedback calls, and group discussions. Live components ensure teaching competency, direct observation, and meaningful mentor feedback.

Live Session Frequency and Time Zones

Live sessions are scheduled regularly throughout the year and offered across multiple time zones to support international students. You will have several opportunities to meet each live requirement within your 12-month access period.

Self-Paced Study Plus Live Support

This training combines independent study with real human guidance. You are never left to “figure it out” alone. The structure is designed to support deep learning while still fitting around work, family, and existing teaching schedules.

You receive ongoing mentor support, structured milestones, and clear expectations for progression. Live sessions are not optional add-ons — they are an integrated part of how teaching skill is developed and assessed.

By the end of the program, you will not only meet Yoga Alliance requirements, but also feel confident teaching real classes with clarity, structure, and adaptability.
