This training covers the essential skills and knowledge needed to teach yoga with confidence, clarity, and safety. The curriculum balances theory, practice, and real-world application.

Yoga Asana Practice – Explore a wide variety of yoga postures with an emphasis on proper alignment, safe modifications, and adaptability for different body types and abilities.

Anatomy and Physiology – Gain a thorough understanding of the human body, its systems, and how they connect to yoga practice and teaching.

Philosophy and Ethics – Learn the foundations of yoga philosophy, including the eight limbs, history, and essential ethical principles for guiding your students.

Teaching Methodology – Develop practical teaching skills, including class sequencing, lesson planning, and effective use of props to enhance learning.

Teaching Practicum – Receive supervised teaching experience, complete with professional feedback and mentorship to refine your instruction.

Business of Yoga – Learn the essentials for building a successful yoga career, from marketing and pricing to legal considerations and professional best practices.

Self-Practice – Dedicate time to deepen your personal practice and reflect on your growth as both a student and teacher.

Continued Education – Access guidance and resources for ongoing professional development after certification.

This 200-hour in-person Austin training is delivered by experienced instructors in a supportive and encouraging environment. While we include traditional elements such as chanting, chakras, and yoga history, the program is science-based and non-religious, focusing on biomechanics, alignment, strength, mind-body connection, and overall wellness. Students of all backgrounds and faiths are welcome, equipped with practical tools to enhance their practice, teaching, and everyday life.
