Although the curriculum includes the history and origin of yoga, chanting, chakras, etc. this is a science-based (non-religious) training & curriculum, focused mainly on correct body alignment, mind-body connection, biomechanics, fitness, strengthening, and overall well-being to enhance students practice and lives. We welcome people of all faiths—or none at all. We believe this training gives anyone from all areas and all faiths the helpful tools in order to better their practice and overall quality of life.

How much yoga experience do I need to do the Yoga Teacher Training?We meet the trainees where they are. You don’t need a specific level of practice – we mostly welcome all levels from basics to advanced, However, it is encourages to have a yoga practice and important to have done yoga classes before the training starts, the school has the rights to decline a student that is not yet ready to attend a YTT200. We do this to ensure trainees that qualify through Eonyoga school meets a quality standard of teaching with trainees that are capable of teaching anywhere in the world if they choose to do so.

What if I don’t want to be a yoga teacher? Can I still do the training?Yes. Not all attendees intend to teach yoga. Many enroll for their own personal enrichment. The training is designed to become a well-rounded teacher as well as for those who simply want to deepen their yoga practice. It’s a transformational journey! In the scenario a trainee is doing the YTT200 for personal growth and self enrichment and not to teach afterwards, in that case any level of yoga practice from beginner will be welcome to join. YTT200 Certificates of completion will be awarded if all criteria is met throughout the training, as well as completed necessary hours and successfully passing exams.

What does it mean to be a Certified and Registered Yoga Teacher?There is a well-respected organization called Yoga Alliance which provides yoga teacher training program guidelines. EonYoga school will issue a certificate of graduation to those who successfully complete all the graduation requirements. Graduates can there after register themselves with the Yoga Alliance using the Eonyoga credentials and become a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200). EonYoga Teacher Training program is approved by Yoga Alliance standards.

What if I have to miss a day or weekend?Even though we strongly encourage students to attend all classes, a student that had made prior arrangement will be sent an online class to catch up on workshops and lectures in the event that a student misses hours that need to be made up.

Are there any other costs beside the tuition fee?There will be a set of recommended books and reading assignments. If you like to own the books you will need to buy them at your own cost, You will also need to complete your necessary hours so if you doing it at different studios (and not through the hosting studio as well as Eonyoga online platform, which the platform is free for the duration of the training) the cost of class attendance/observation at other yoga studios will need to be covered at your own cost.

Can I cancel my membership anytime?Yes, you can cancel monthly or yearly membership any time.

Will my membership renew automatically?Yes, both yearly and monthly membership renew automatically. For example, if your first payment is on the 15th of the month, your subscription will be automatically charged the 15th of each month.
